Our location mirrors our mission
Kesher occupies the second floor of the historic 59 Cross street building, owned by the non-profit Somerville Hispanic Association for Community Development, the building is shared by an active food pantry, community support agency and a worship space, supporting our mission to incorporate social justice, Jewish values, and community in a mixed-faith-friendly, open and safe space.
Formerly used as a family shelter, the new Kesher space was designed by staff, and students, working closely with 5 Cedar LLC contracting to redesign our unique space together!
Our new space offers nature inspired light-filled classrooms, a fine art studio, a STEAM studio, gross motor break out spaces, a library and gathering space as well as plenty of cozy areas to connect!
