At Kesher we see the teachers as collaborators and guides in the learning process of our students.

Our educators are passionate about the field of Early Childhood Education and the Reggio Emilia Philosophy that guides our practice.  We are as committed to the growth and development of our educators as we are to our students.

Each year we provide rich professional development and training in the field of Reggio-inspired Jewish Early Childhood and strive to grow our own practices as individual educators and as a school-wide community.

We not only embrace best practices but also strive to continually expand our knowledge of Jewish education, the Reggio inspired approach, and anti-bias and inclusive practices through individual training, professional development, and self-reflection designed to enhance our work with the children.

Meet Our Engagement Team

Alyssa

she/her/hers

Nevatim Program Coordinator

Alyssa has been an early childhood educator for over ten years and counting! She has spent most of her teaching career in Jewish setting, and enjoys infusing her curriculum with core Jewish values. She enjoys celebrating Havdalah at the beginning of the week and ending with Shabbat, as well as encouraging the children to recite blessings, and notice all the little things around them that fuel their Jewish Identity. She believes that learning in a natural environment is the key to healthy growth and development in early education. Coming from a nature-based school and having a Reggio approach to her own  teaching practice,  she likes to consider herself a “co-discoverer” because she learns and explore nature alongside the children.
