Kesher Community Connections

Family Table – Kesher supports Family Table by bringing in donations every month. Some years it’s cans of meatless soup and tubes of toothpaste. Kesher families then bring the collection to Brookline where they are distributed to families in need.

Book Drive – During the year many families bring gently-used children’s books to Kesher. Several times during the year the books are delivered to Respond, Inc. and to The Jewish Literacy Coalition.

The Women’s Meal – This is a meal that is served every Thursday night to about 15 women. Kesher cooks the entire meal on the 3rd Thursday of each month. This project has been taken on by Kesher’s Benayim program (6-8 grade) families.

Our involvement in these community connection projects has been wonderful!
