Dates for Machaneh Kesher are as follows:
Week 1 - June 23rd-June 27th
Week 2 - June 30th-July 3rd - Closed on Friday July 4th
Week 3- July 7th-July 11th
Week 4 -July 14th-July 18th
Machaneh Kesher (Camp Kesher) is a summer day camp with a Hebrew language and Jewish community focus for children entering grades 1-5. We play together, create art, swim, go on field trips, do sports, and have lots of fun. We operate for several weeks in the summer from 8:45am-5:15pm. Campers can attend Machaneh Kesher for any number of one week sessions.
Breicha-- swimming pool. At Machaneh Kesher we go swimming everyday (weather permitting) at a local pool. We will also be offering swimming lessons for beginner swimmers. We walk or take public transportation.
Tiyul-- hike, field trip. At Machaneh Kesher we take many exciting field trips, either walking, taking the train or the bus-- generally two per week! Past chanichim (campers) have enjoyed going to the Harbor Islands, the Science Museum, the Swan Boats, Jewish treasure hunt in Brookline, the Arnold Arboretum, the Freedom Trail, Singing Beach and many more!
Gleedah-- ice cream. We make it, buy it, eat it!
Z'man BaChootz--outside time. At Machaneh Kesher we take advantage of the summer weather by spending a lot of time outside playing on our field and playground in addition to going to other parks around the city for sports, games, and water-play.
Peulot--activities Machaneh Kesher campers also enjoy challah baking, cooking, arts and crafts, informal Hebrew time, journal writing, story time, drama games, and time to spend with new and old friends.
